You’ll visit the Narikhala fortress, created in the 4th century and considerably enlarged since then by the Umayyads, King David the Builder, and then destroyed by the Mongols. It overlooks Tbilisi and the Mtkvari river, offering panoramic views of Tbilisi.
Lunch in the historic center of Tbilisi in a typical Georgian restaurant. You’ll already be introduced to Georgian gastronomic traditions.
You’ll then stroll through the maze of the old town, a veritable jewel of architecture and layout, with its carved wooden balconies, winding cobbled streets… old Tbilisi is both an Oriental and a medieval European city.
